Lighting of the Lights | Miracle on 1st Street | 5PM
Help us kick off the Holiday Season by Lighting the Lights in Downtown St. Charles. Join us in the 1st Street Plaza at 5:00pm. Enjoy classic Christmas caroling led by both the St. Charles East and North High School Choirs. Our very own Mayor Ray Rogina and a special guest will then flip the switch to turn on the holiday lights all around town. The night will conclude with a special visit from Santa and special shopping, treats and activities in the businesses on 1st Street.
Saturday, November 30
FREE Holiday Movie at the Arcada Theatre | Doors open 9AM
Join us at 9:00am for a Christmas Sing-A-Long. The Holiday Movie will begin at 10:00am
FREE Horse-Drawn Trolley Rides | 1-4:30PM
Line forms on 1st Street in front of Vintage 53. Rides will run from 1:00pm and the last ride will take off at 4:00pm
Live Holiday Window Displays | 1-5PM
Take a stroll up & down Main Street & 1st Street to see local dance companies put on live Holiday displays in downtown businesses windows. The window displays will run from 1:00pm-5:00pm
Santa's House will be open for visitors from 1:00pm-4:00pm in the 1st Street Plaza. He will not go past 4:00pm because he has to get ready to be in the parade too! But don't worry he will be there every Saturday & Sunday until Christmas!
Electric Christmas Parade | 5:30PM
The electric Christmas Parade is the only lighted parade in the area! This family Holiday tradition kicks off at 5:30pm down Main Street between 6th Street and 4th Avenue. The parade usually lasts one hour.
