St. Charles Holiday Homecoming is one of the Midwest's most spectacular holiday events. Come to the most magical celebration to kick off your holiday season with the Lighting of the Lights Ceremony on the Friday after Thanksgiving and the Electric Christmas Parade, a Holiday movie, and other themed holiday activities on Saturday.

Come celebrate the Lighting of the Lights Ceremony while kicking off the holiday season with the community! Even Santa will be there to meet and take pictures with everyone after the event!

Saturday, November 29th

Free Holiday Movie

Catch a FREE screening of Elf at the historic Arcada Theatre. Doors open at 9 AM in order for you to grab a seat and get some snacks from the lobby. The movie will begin at 10 AM.

Electric Christmas Parade

Prepare to be in awe! Starting at 5:30 PM, the Electric Christmas Parade starts at 6th Street and travels down Main Street to conclude at 4th Avenue. The parade will feature bands, parade floats, and a special guest, Santa Claus!

Brighten up your holiday season at our lighted photo opportunities! The installations will be up all holiday season on the 1st Street Plaza, so make sure to snap a photo for your family Christmas card! Be sure to tag @stcalliance and @travelstcharles!

Santa's House

Santa's House will be open for visitors every Saturday and Sunday from 1 PM - 4 PM from November 30th - December 22nd. Youngsters can drop off their letters, share their holiday gift wish list and take pictures with the North Pole's most popular resident, the one and only Santa Claus!
