St. Charles Holiday Homecoming is one of the Midwest's most spectacular holiday events. Come to the most magical celebration to kick off your holiday season with the Lighting of the Lights Ceremony on the Friday after Thanksgiving and the Electric Christmas Parade, a Holiday movie, and other themed holiday activities on Saturday.

Free screening of The Grinch at The Arcada Theatre. Doors open at 9am in order for you to grab a seat and get some snacks from the lobby. The movie will begin at 10 AM.

Electric Christmas Parade

Prepare to be in awe! Starting at 5:30 PM, the Electric Christmas Parade starts at 6th Street and travels down Main Street to conclude at 4th Avenue. The parade will feature bands, parade floats, and a special guest, Santa Claus!

Santa's House will be open for visitors every Saturday and Sunday from 1PM-4PM from November 30th - December 22nd. Youngsters can drop off their letters, share their holiday gift wish list and take pictures with the North Pole's most popular resident, the one and only Santa Claus!
